CLÆP VISIONS proudly presents its first physical release ever - CLÆP TAPE VOL.1. The opening track is 'Tadula' by Jesus Moses. Starting off with a limp the track seems to teach itself how to groove. Once accelerated it only slows down to a catchy break that hints at Jesus' roots in the Beat Art community. Next up is Modern L.O.V.E. - Ion Vulcan's debut track for CLÆP VISIONS. In this track Ion uses a straight forward approach that has no other goal than to get you onto the dancefloor. The stoic rhythym on this track can't conceal Ion's love for both House and Techno. Just when you think it gets too fierce Ion hands you a moment of refreshment just to speed up again. A sure dancefloor burner! Closing side A you have CLÆP VISIONS stalwart Sischke taking you on a funky cruise. 'Sash'78' does not only breath disco, but also has pure joy flowing through its veins. You will find yourself smiling when that main theme kicks in and puts in a state of pure bliss. The following track is taken straight from our vaults. Matti Julius has been around for quite some time and is a founding member of the CLÆP VISIONS collective. Being a classically trained composer and jazz guitarist he has quite an original approach to electronic music. 'Chuzpe' is a storming track that utilizes reduced piano chords to create a tensed atmosphere. Closing things off is 'Math', the debut track of aspiring producer Yot Nam. Right from the start he hits you with banging drums, which are part of his trademark sound. Rap samples straight out of the 90s complement the track's House sound and create a very urban feel. But don't get too laid back as everything is gonna get drenched in eerie pads to leave the listener on a dissonant note. You've been warned.
